Idos de 1996, Unit Moebius eram conhecidos em certos círculos como Underground Resistance europeus e os seus discos acrescentavam valor ao léxico techno do continente. A editora Bunker, montada em 1992 por squatters de veia punk, serviu para lançar Unit Moebius e ligar o movimento ao contínuo anarco-punk que já vinha do final dos anos 1970. Neste EP, quatro faixas de techno frio, minimalista, esquelético, maquinal, celebrando a escala de cinza e céus carregados. Motivos tecnológicos servem de mote a esta realidade paralela ("Sensor", "Radar", "Antenna", "Probe"), espartana, bela ao seu modo, em auto-estrada, talvez inútil nos grandes clubes que em 96 ditavam tendências mas ouro em festas underground e nas mãos de DJs dedicados que não precisavam necessariamente de ser niilistas ou misantropos para fazer passar a mensagem de verdade.
